If you just found out that you're going to have a baby, here's some more good news: MommySTYLE is here to help you get ready for the physical, emotional and lifestyle changes that come with having your first baby or growing family.
These classes are designed to help you and your partner prepare for your exciting, life-changing journey. Expect to learn everything you need to know to welcome your baby into this world.
Come interact with other couples in a classroom setting and learn about your birth experience, what to be prepared for and the responsibilities of your support person.

Childbirth Preparation—Recommended 32 to 36 Weeks
This four-part series is designed to prepare you for giving birth. The emphasis is on stages of labor, including the epidural and pain management and the birth process. In addition, the class addresses the importance of emotional support during labor and helps ease anxiety surrounding the birthing experience. Offered four consecutive Tuesdays each month 6:30 to 9 p.m.
Childbirth Preparation Options
Lamaze Weekend—Recommended 32 to 36 Weeks. Covers the same material as our regular series on a Friday night and all day Saturday. Offered every other month.

Newborn Basics—Recommended 26 to 36 Weeks
This workshop focuses on the newborn: safety, hygiene, comforting your baby, and when to call the doctor. First Saturday of each month, 9:30 a.m. to noon. (beginning October 2012) Caregivers welcome.
Breastfeeding Workshop—Recommended 26 to 36 Weeks
This workshop is designed to provide practical instruction about the how-to's of breastfeeding, as well as information about breastfeeding's benefits. Participants will learn troubleshooting tips and have questions answered before the baby arrives. Second Thursday of each month, 6 to 9 p.m. (beginning October 2012) Support persons welcome.
Maternity Center Tour
This is a free one hour tour of the Birthing Center. Fourth Tuesday of each month, 6 p.m. Meet in the hospital lobby.
