We Can!
We Can (Ways to Enhance Children’s Activity and Nutrition) is a public education program designed to help children, under the age of 13 years, stay at healthy weights, improve food choices, increase physical activity and reduce screen time.
This program is unique because it focuses on parents and families in home and community settings. The program is offered as a four part series for parents.
The sessions include:
- Energize Our Families: Getting Started.
- Maintain a Healthy Weight: The Energy Balance Equation.
- What to Feed My Family: Manage Energy In.
- Less Sit, More Fit: Energy Out.
Classes can be scheduled for parent groups, church groups or school organizations.

New Baby Day Camp for Big Brothers and Big Sisters
New Baby Day Camp for Big Brothers and Big Sisters is a fun and interactive day at camp, that helps siblings prepare for the arrival of a new baby. This program is focused on mothers who are pregnant and have toddlers at home.
