Dr. Bizousky is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon originally from Punxsutawney, PA. He has been practicing medicine at Indiana Regional Medical Center for nearly 25 years. Dr. Bizousky received his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Bizousky completed a surgical internship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, then served in the Army as a general medical officer from in Stuttgart, Germany. Next, Dr. Bizousky completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado. Following his residency, Dr. Bizousky returned to Germany and served as an orthopedic staff and chief surgeon for Combat Support Hospital in Heidelberg and the 212th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital.
Dr. Bizousky specializes in general orthopedics with a special interest in total knee and total hip replacements, shoulder replacements, trauma, arthroscopy and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Bizousky is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society and more. Dr. Bizousky serves as team physician for Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) and area high schools. Additionally, Dr. Bizousky has served as the president of Indiana Regional Medical Center’s medical staff. He is the director of regenerative orthopedics at Antria.
When Dr. Bizousky is not practicing medicine, he enjoys playing basketball, guitar, and piano.
