In the fall of 2015, Indiana Regional Medical Center (IRMC) opened the Centennial Building. The project expanded our current services offered with 6 new operating rooms, a new endoscopy room and a new post-anesthesia care unit (recovery room). Each operating room is set up exactly the same and is outfitted with advanced lights that will deliver the benefits of superior LED technology with precision reflection to create the optimal surgical lighting experience for our surgeons. In addition, state-of-the-art booms provide an advanced equipment management system and power center, allowing for a safe and efficient surgical environment. All cords will be lifted from the floor and equipment will be in close proximity to the patient.
IRMC also committed to a new anesthesia machine.
In the fall of 2016, IRMC will be opening the second phase of the Centennial Building project to include a new ambulatory care unit where patients report before surgery and recover before going home. This unit was designed for optimal patient care, efficiency and patient comfort.
Four general surgeons and 4 orthopedic surgeons who have been committed to IRMC head our surgical team. We continue to offer ear, nose and throat surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, podiatry, urology, dental, ophthalmology, spine, neurosurgery, vascular surgery and pain management services.
